  • The Outpost sleeps up to 12 guests across the Main House and The Casita. The Main House includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and The Casita adds 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.

  • Yes, The Outpost is pet-friendly with advance notice and an additional pet fee. The fenced backyard gives dogs space to roam safely, but guests should still be mindful of desert wildlife and the surrounding landscape.

  • The Outpost is about 15 minutes from the East Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. It is also close to Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, local restaurants, shops, the observatory, and other desert favorites.

  • Yes. Guests have called it “kid-friendly,” “perfect for families,” and a “good setup for family gatherings.” With multiple bedrooms, indoor and outdoor dining, all of our outdoor amenities, and open space, it works well for families who want room to be together. 

  • Yes, The Outpost was designed for groups moving through full seasons of life together — birthdays, reunions, friend weekends, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family escapes, and moments that deserve more than a quick dinner or text thread. With indoor comfort, outdoor play, and plenty of room to gather, it makes space for whatever comes next.

  • The Outpost feels remote and private, with open desert space, wide views, and room to fully step away. As one guest shared, “The home felt very remote and private on the 2.5 acres even though it is so close to Highway 62.” You get the quiet of the desert without being far from town, restaurants, and Joshua Tree National Park. 

  • Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am, and no smoking is allowed indoors. Because this is the desert, you may see wildlife like jackrabbits, coyotes, or tortoises. Please enjoy them from a safe distance and care for the land while you’re here. We ask guests to care for the home, the land, and the quiet around them so INTRVL can remain a place worth returning to.

  • The Outpost is one of three stays within the INTRVL micro-resort. You will have private access to The Outpost home and its dedicated outdoor spaces, including the hot tub, stock tank pool, fire pit, hammocks, outdoor movie theater,  and game room.
