Experience The Casita

The Experience

Wake with the Desert

Wake to warm desert light, quiet mountain views, and the kind of stillness that makes the day feel unhurried. Step outside with coffee, settle onto the deck under the pergola, and let the morning arrive slowly.

Stay Out Beneath Stars

As the desert cools, the sky opens wide. Sit by the fire, look for constellations, listen to the quiet, and end the night feeling far from the noise you came here to leave behind.

Share Something Simple

The Casita is made for the small moments that become the stay: coffee at sunrise, golden-hour drinks beneath the pergola, a slow meal after exploring, or a quiet conversation that finally has room to unfold.

Take the Time You Need

Read outside, meditate with the view, stretch beneath open skies, or simply do less. The Casita gives you space to pause without an agenda and return to yourself in your own time.

β€œWe were looking to stargaze in the desert for the weekend, with the comfort of home amenities, and this house allowed us to do just that.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Casita sleeps 2 guests in one bedroom with a queen bed. It’s best for couples, solo travelers, or guests who want a quieter stay within the larger INTRVL experience.

  • Yes. When you book The Casita, you’ll have private access to The Casita, its private entrance, driveway, and dedicated outdoor area. The Casita is part of the larger INTRVL micro-resort, so other guests may be staying nearby unless you reserve the full resort. (Learn more about booking the full resort here.)

  • Casita guests may have access to select shared amenities at INTRVL, including the pool, jacuzzi, Desert Disco Bar, and Mystic Lounge when available. Because access may depend on other bookings or property setup, please confirm current amenity access before your stay.

  • The Casita is about 15 minutes from the East Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. It is also close to Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, local restaurants, shops, the observatory, and other desert favorites.

  • The Casita is a quiet place to take a call, answer emails, or enjoy a slower work-from-the-desert rhythm. It’s best suited for light remote work, creative projects, and guests who want fewer distractions.

  • The Casita feels remote and private, with open desert space, wide views, and room to fully step away. As one guest shared, β€œThe home felt very remote and private on the 2.5 acres even though it is so close to Highway 62.” You get the quiet of the desert without being far from town, restaurants, and Joshua Tree National Park.

  • Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am, and no smoking is allowed indoors. Because this is the desert, you may see wildlife like jackrabbits, coyotes, or tortoises. Please enjoy them from a safe distance and care for the land while you’re here. We ask guests to care for the home, the land, and the quiet around them so INTRVL can remain a place worth returning to.
